Like the original, the piece is worked seamlessly top down in Stockinette Stitch, so you can easily adjust the length to suit your preferences.

First, the yoke is worked flat to raise the back, then the yoke continues in the round with classic raglan increases. To finish, the hems, cuffs, and collar are worked to double length, then neatly folded and attached for a clean, polished look. You can customise the sleeve lengths, work them to short or three quarter lengths (or even longer).

Hello summer and hello cute top! This is an easy and simple summer knit project that is quick to knit, I made the first sample top in just 3 days - instant gratification guaranteed.

The top is knitted bottom up in the round on 4.5 mm (US 7) needles with 100% cotton yarn held double. When the body is complete stitches are bound off for the back and then the upper front is worked separately back and forth. Lastly, the straps are worked to desired length, you can choose if you want to have a regular or criss cross back.

You betcha your friends will be saying "oh la la" when you show up in this top and tell them you've made it yourself!

Das Sailor (Matros*in) Swift Top ist ein einfaches Tanktop mit einem leichten Ringerrücken- Ausschnitt am Rücken, das ihm einen modernen Touch und leichten „cool girl vibe“ gibt. Die klassischen Streifen und der feine Kordelrand am Hals und an den Armausschnitten machen es zu einem Lieblingsstück, das Du immer wieder tragen (und stricken) willst.

Das Top wird von oben nach unten glatt rechts gearbeitet, sodass Du die Länge Deinem Körper anpassen kannst. Zunächst wird das Rückteil in Reihen gestrickt, dann werden Maschen für beide Teile des Vorderteils aufgenommen und das Strickstück zur Runde geschlossen. Zuletzt werden Maschen an den Ausschnitten für Hals und Arme aufgenommen und mit einem Kordelrand versehen (Abketten mit einer Kordel (i-cord).
