Cornflake Top

€6.50

RELAXED • TEXTURED • VIDEO TUTORIAL FOR CROCHET EDGES

The Cornflake Top is for those carefree days spent in the sun, preferably with an ice cream or book in hand. When designing this top, I wanted to create something with cute textures and thoughtful details—something fun to knit without being overly complicated. The result is a sweet piece with vintage-inspired flair, featuring adorable crochet scallop edges dancing around the neckline, hem, and armholes.

The top is worked entirely in seed stitch with a few delicate lace borders for contrast. This is the kind of piece that feels effortlessly cute without being fussy, with just the right touch of cottagecore energy.

  • XXS (XS, S, M) (L, XL, 2XL) (3XL, 4XL, 5XL)

  • a. Bust circumference: 80 (88, 98, 108) (116, 126, 134) (146, 158, 166) cm / 31.5 (34.75, 38.5, 42.5) (45.75, 49.5, 52.75) (57.5, 62.25, 65.25)”.

    b. Length from underarm to hem: 30 cm / 12” all sizes, or desired length.

The Cornflake Top is designed to have 10–20 cm / 4–8” of positive ease for a loose fit. If you prefer a more regular fit choose one size below your regular size.

Note: The armholes may appear deeper than expected once the Upper Front and Upper Back sts are joined. The crochet scallop edge will significantly reduce the armhole circumference, so hold off on any adjustments until the finishing is complete.

Sample in size M, Kika has a bust of approx. 88 cm / 35”.

  • 20 sts x 34 rows / rnds = 10 cm / 4” in seed stitch on 3.5 mm / US4 needles, after blocking.

  • 3.5 mm / US4: circular needles 80-100 cm / 32-40”.

  • 3.5 mm / US E-4.

  • Removable stitch markers, tapestry needle, stitch holder or scrap yarn.

  • The top is worked in a Sport or DK weight yarn, or by holding two strands of fingering weight yarn together or by holding three strands of lace weight yarn together.

    • A DK weight / two strands of fingering weight yarn will make the fabric denser, giving the finished garment more structure.

    • A sport weight yarn will produce a looser and more drapey fabric, giving the top a softer, more flowy feel.

    You’ll need approx.:

    500 (500, 550, 600) (650, 750, 800) (850, 900, 950) m / 550 (550, 600, 660) (710, 820, 880) (930, 980, 1040) yds of sport / DK weight yarn

Wavy Babe Top
€6.50

The Wavy Babe Top pairs a clean, minimal silhouette with a refined cable texture. Inspired by the movement of rolling waves, the twisted cables flow across the fabric, creating a soft yet structured pattern. Light and versatile, this top is perfect for a breezy beach walk, a chic city lunch, or a quiet day at home.

It is knitted from the bottom up, with cables worked over three stitches. The construction allows you to work the cables without a cable needle—simply knit the third stitch directly from the back to create the wave-like twists. The front and back are identical, with the neckline shaped through gradual decreases for a balanced, seamless look.

Love Letter Top
€6.50

The Love Letter Top is a tribute to lace stitch patterns - a love letter written by a pair of knitting needles in the shape of a knitted fabric. The design was born from a desire to create something with an all over lace motif that keeps changing all the time. It’s a true celebration of the textures and intricate shapes that we can create with our knitting needles.

The top is worked top down, first the upper back and front are worked back and forth, and then the body is worked in the round. Lastly stitches are picked up around the neckline and armholes for an i-cord bindoff edge.

Vanilla Chilla Tee
€7.50

TOP DOWN • SEAMLESS • VIDEO GUIDE AVAILABLE

The Vanilla Chilla Tee was born out of a desire for a basic t-shirt that could be worn during the warmer seasons. I wanted something that would be relaxing and comfortable to both knit and wear—timeless, simple, and made for chilling in (hence the name!). After all, vanilla ice cream never goes out of style, and neither does a really good basic tee.

The piece is worked seamlessly top down in Stockinette stitch, so you can easily adjust the length to suit your preferences. First, the yoke is worked flat to raise the back, then the yoke continues in the round with classic raglan increases. To finish, the hems, cuffs, and collar are worked to double length, then neatly folded and attached for a clean, polished look.
